Betsy Ross
Betsy Ross with her new family

Right before the 4th of July, Lakeland Animal Shelter in Elkhorn, contact Playing Again Sams about a little lost girl. She was estimated to be about 5 and in very matted condition - she also had an ear infection and a urinatry track infection. But she was cute beyond words. Her time in foster care lasted only a few days - just enough to get her bladder infection under control. Eric and Judy from Sheboygan had recently lost their beloved girl and their house was way too quite and lonely without their Taco's smiling face. But when they met Betsy Ross (the named her thus because they adopted her during the 4th of July holiday), their hearts melted. Betsy has a little submissive peeing, but who knows what the poor girl had to put up with before coming into rescue. But anyone with a submissive peer knows how to work with that "limitation." And the rewards are so great. They don't come much cuter or sweeter than Betsy into rescue!!
