Rescue Success Stories

Who would take a sweet, gentle, unobtrusive family pet of five years and dump him in the humane society, turn their backs, walk away, and look at themselves in the mirror the next day? But a family did that to Aspen in Kenosha. Poor Aspen was depressed for several weeks, but with the help of Hap and Karen, his foster parents, he was nursed back to health and Suzanne and David from Long Island, NY were looking for a gentle rescue samoyed to join their pack. A Playing Again Sams volunteer flew with him on Midwest Express to New York, and after a couple of weeks adjusting to his big, big sister samoyed, Aspen became, finally, a member of someone's pack. Suzanne and David can't get over how incredible he is with their daughter, Kasey.
