Keiko
Keiko relaxing in his new home.

I had barely placed Tundra before getting a call from another humane society about a messed up dog, around 10, who they just didn't have the heart to euthanize because he was so sweet. I named him Keiko to give him abig name (after the killer whale from Free Willy) for strength. He had been found as a stray and had probably been out for a while. When I got him, he had what was initially described as bullet wounds but after a visit with my vet, we thought maybe a puncture wound from a stake of some kind. He was also estimated to be between 4-6. It took ALL my strength to give him to samfan Richard Ranta who lives far away from me.
